Gameology: Commentary and Resources for the Game Studies Community

I have played games for years, all sorts. Being a fantasy adv buff and mythos seeker I focus towards mud/mmo/mmor/mmorph/GAG/etc...

Now, LucasArt titles, I'd recommend going thru a good many of them before jumping righ tin on all this. The Dig was played up in its own circles, in its time. And for a generalized game, it was poor, and for a generlized Story line, it was decent, and for a generalized mechanics, it was fair, for a LucasArt Spin, is was great, for a competitive GAG, it was original and refreshing. Graphic layout, game methods, delivery and narrative presence, is above average. And over all, it got in where it could fit in, and did well with the masses and especially scifi kiddies. Which I happen to enjoy scifi lines. Anyways, Im 36 in aug 08, im been a hardcore gamer as long as I can remember and I am a telephony coder/conceptor/Programmer(whats that!) lol, well anyways. Just wanted to comment. For those interested, I didnt finish the GAG, but I enjoyed what of it I did mush thru. It takes a certain type of game and mechanics to hold my attention all the way through these days. Be well all..
