Yes, this game stands out in my memory. As the game world expands, you find additional ways of creating shortcuts between distant parts of the game world, which is roughly analagous to getting new powers and levelling up in an RPG. I did feel slightly cheated when the time I spent trying to get to know the NPCs that appear in the first chapter, since so few of them end up being important.
