Gameology: Commentary and Resources for the Game Studies Community

I was thinking about this in perspective of the AP's Paris Blackout this past spring. They finally made a policy of not reporting on Paris' whereabouts unless she was actually associated with something newsworthy. It's strange that this exception had to be made in the first place. The line between entertainment and news is blurring significantly as we get new media and technology to play with. If the newsgame community can create a successful taxonomy up front, they'll be way ahead of more traditional media.
