Some questions on the review

This review summarizes and then defines, especially in the last few sentences, I find this confusing. A simple question or more: your summary suggests
a. The book misreads a thinker who in turn misreads (or at least is open to this charge). When in fact he said "Badiou offers"..which suggests to me the source is inspiration rather than intended accurate rereading..even if his reading is wrong, can his theory not stand by itself?
b. In the last sentence you seem to conflate software and programming with technology? Or are you saying software and programming cannot talk about technology's effect on humanity?
c. Meta-ontological? An ontology that classifies or investigates the structure itself of metaphysics? Or a high up study of ontology itself as a metaphysical pursuit?
d. By Hegel and Jena, I imagine you are talking about Hegel finishing his masterverk just on the battle of Jena, (stuffing the Phenomenology into his pocket, going into hiding) but you could also be sneakily referring to the discovery of his illegitimate son. These oblique references distract!
e. Finally, but did you enjoy reading the book?
